Birdie

Birdie by Betsy Youngquist is part of a series of found object masks celebrating the interconnected web of life on planet Earth. This mask was formed using a wooden foundry form from Memphis, TN. The remaining parts include both vintage and contemporary beads, antique brass African beads, and horsehair. There is a friendly fierceness to this large wall-hanging mask.
